The article examines key aspects of compliance with product packaging standards in the context of globalized trade and the development of supply chains. Particular attention is paid to the requirements for packaged products in the United States of America, including an analysis of the legislative norms regulating this process. It also investigates the issues of state control over packaged products in the Republic of Kazakhstan, including the results of an experiment to check the content of the net value indicated on the package. The article presents a social survey among residents of the capital, the results of which serve as the basis for recommendations aimed at increasing the requirements for packaged products and strengthening state control in Kazakhstan.
