The article examines the current problems of regulation of packaging products in Kazakhstan. It highlights the main requirements for packaging products, including packaging rules, labeling, as well as shortcomings in the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding packaging products. Special attention is paid to state control over compliance with these requirements, legislation on consumer protection. The main regulations and activities of the bodies responsible for the control of packaging products in Kazakhstan are analyzed. As a result, it is concluded that it is important to comply with the requirements for packaging products to ensure the interests of consumers and the development of the country's economy.
