The article is based on the analysis of the current state of conformity assessment of the organic production process, taking into account the results of the study of the Latvian organic production control system within the framework of the TAIEX INTPA project. The article is aimed at a wide audience, it will be useful for producers and consumers of organic products, state regulatory authorities, including in recognizing the equivalence of the national system of control of organic production for export development. In addition, the article will be of interest to institutes for the development of organic agricultural production and the development of exports of organic products, as well as scientific and educational centers in the field of agriculture, associations and public associations.
